When Electrolux was to create the worldwide launch of its new luxury range of kitchen appliances, the Electrolux
Grand Cuisine range, we were invited to design the space for the launch event, which took place at the Royal Geographic society in London, UK. The brief called for a show kitchen area, where celebrity chefs could hold live demonstrations of the EGC products to press and industry guests, and a dining area where specially invited VIP guests could experience an evening of avant-garde dining created by world renowned chefs from Sweden and the UK.
Our proposal is rooted in the Swedish tradition of wood and light, but enhanced with a contemporary aesthetic of
seamless white corian surfaces, worktops and details, an interplay of new and old.
