Our design for Paul Smith used the idea of framing as a spatial strategy, where we created a monochrome, singular
framework structure that enclosed the catwalk space and framed views inbetween the thin ribs of the framework walls.
The terracotta-like colour was derived from the collection, which used earthy hues throughout. The framework, made entirely from orange Valchromat, was built in prefabricated sections, a requirement as the project only had 24 hours on site for install and prep before the show, and as such holds the record for the shortest build time in our project history!
