Wynwood Park // Miami, USA // Competition Finalist // 2014

SFA was shortlisted in the competition for this new "gateway" park in the design district of Miami. The interesting thing about a gateway is not the structure itself but what passes through it, and in the case of Wynwood the energy and diversity that it attracts. It is beneath these arches which are linked together that people can meet, have a fashion show, attend a concert, get married, children can play, have lunch, meditate, but above all interact with each other.
